Angel Babies Matter Network’s Inaugural Moms and Mimosas Jazz Brunch: A Heartfelt Tribute to Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness

Angel Babies Matter Network, a compassionate nonprofit committed to supporting mothers and families dealing with pregnancy and infant loss, successfully hosted its inaugural “Moms and Mimosas Jazz Brunch” on Sunday October 15, 2023 at the Komedy Lounge. The event marked Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness and Remembrance Day, providing a platform for remembrance, awareness, and community support.

The event witnessed an overwhelming response, with a sold-out attendance that highlighted the community’s eagerness to come together and acknowledge the silent pain of pregnancy and infant loss. Attendees were treated to an unforgettable experience filled with music, support, and heartfelt remembrance. Freestyle Felicia and singer-songstress Tiffani R Singz took the stage, weaving soulful melodies that resonated with the emotions of the audience. DJ Jazz Smooth maintained the lively atmosphere, and Tracey Hilton, owner of “Heart Health with Tracey Renay,” served as the engaging emcee throughout the event. Dr. Lisa Henderson Hubbard, a respected expert in the field, delivered a powerful message, offering insight into the mental health aspects of pregnancy and infant loss. Her words provided comfort and encouragement to those in attendance.The event featured vendors who generously supported Angel Babies Matter Network’s cause. WellLit candles by Monica Burnett and Paparazzi Consultant Latoya Bechet of FTLBling donated a portion of their proceeds to the organization. Attendees had the opportunity to purchase items from these vendors, contributing to care packages for grieving moms. The Moms and Mimosas Jazz Brunch served as a platform to raise awareness about the mental health resources and networking available to moms after a pregnancy or infant loss. In addition to awareness, the event successfully raised funds to provide essential supplies for the organization’s care packages. The Komedy Lounge, owned by Leonard Hayes and Tracey Hilton, was the perfect venue for the event. The lounge owners partnered with Angel Babies Matter Network to provide complimentary mimosas and a delicious breakfast for all attendees. The venue was beautifully decorated by Miranda Evans, and the Balloon Diva Priscilla Roberts created a stunning Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Ribbon balloon display.The culinary experience was enhanced by a visually stunning cake crafted by Jessica Saizan of Beaucoup Sweet. Custom cookies by Kim’s Kreationz added a personal touch to the event. Photographer Dadrin Woodz of Woodz Photography expertly captured the poignant moments of the event.
