Angel Babies Matter Network Brings Comfort to Mothers at St. Luke’s The Woodlands Hospital
Houston, TX
On October 12, 2024, St. Luke’s The Woodlands Hospital hosted a heartfelt event dedicated to supporting mothers who have experienced the deep pain of pregnancy and infant loss. The event, led by the hospital’s Spiritual Care department, featured Tracey R. Hilton, Board President of Angel Babies Matter Network, as the guest speaker.
Hilton shared her personal journey through grief and healing, while also providing an overview of the critical support that Angel Babies Matter Network offers to grieving mothers. Her speech encouraged mothers in attendance to press forward through their loss and reminded them of the strength that lies within reaching out for help and connection.
Chaplain Allison, who organized and coordinated the ceremony, extended her gratitude to Angel Babies Matter Network for their ongoing partnership with the hospital. She specifically highlighted the organization’s donation of care packages, which offer comfort to mothers leaving the hospital, ensuring they don’t depart with empty arms and broken hearts.
Following the moving ceremony, mothers gathered for lunch in the hospital’s healing garden, a serene outdoor space that allowed them a moment of reflection and connection. The event was a powerful reminder of the importance of support networks and community healing in the face of loss. Hilton said, ” We’re honored to be a part of the healing journey for mothers who have experienced pregnancy and infant loss.”
