Cy-Fair Women’s Club and Angel Babies Matter Network Join Forces for a Service Day at Reach Unlimited

On August 13, 2024, Angel Babies Matter Network had the privilege of partnering once again with the Cy-Fair Women’s Club (CWC), this time for a community service day at Reach Unlimited in Cypress, Texas. This heartfelt event brought together volunteers from both organizations with one shared goal—supporting mothers coping with pregnancy and infant loss by packing care packages filled with love and essential items.

The day was a continuation of CWC’s ongoing support of Angel Babies Matter Network, following their generous $700 donation earlier this summer. The funds went directly toward making this event a reality, with CWC members packing an impressive 200 care packages. These packages will go to mothers in need, providing comfort and solace during one of the most difficult times in their lives.

A special thank you goes to Patricia Swagerty of Cy-Fair Women’s Club for initiating this partnership and driving the collaboration that made this day such a success. Patricia’s dedication to community service continues to shine as she brings together women who are passionate about making a difference.

Our Chief Operations Officer, Bilal Houston, worked tirelessly behind the scenes, helping to organize inventory, drive the U-Haul full of supplies, and ensure that everything ran smoothly on the day of the event. We are also incredibly grateful to Juan “Angel” Gonzales for assisting Bilal with operations and logistics.

The heart of community service is in the people who show up, and we were blessed to have neighbors, family members, and volunteers come together for this meaningful cause. A huge thank you to Susan and MacKenzie, our wonderful neighbors who gave their time, simply out of the kindness of their hearts. Ms. Miranda, your thoroughness and consistent presence have always been a gift. To Fosca, our dedicated volunteer and friend, thank you for being the first to arrive and the last to leave—you truly had us covered from every angle. My son Isaiah, even though you were “voluntold” to help, your cheerful heart and willing spirit didn’t go unnoticed!

A special shout-out goes to my beautiful cousin Kimani Rae, who captured all the special moments of the day with her incredible photography and videography skills. Thank you for ensuring that these memories will be cherished forever.
